Case 105882: Two Miami men were watching their neighbors’ fireworks display while sitting and talking under mostly clear skies.  The primary witness saw what he assumed to be a Chinese lantern and called attention to the second witness.  Instead, the second witness, his brother-in-law, immediately identified it as a UFO.  The bright, flame-like, light was slowly ascending.  There appeared to be multiple beams of light emitting from the object.  See the “Object 1” of the witness’ sketch.  The object stopped and then descended directly toward them and stopped again about 60 feet above them.  Silently, the object turned into a “strange light.”  Shortly thereafter, the object shot up vertically and at an incredible speed.  The primary witness’ initial identification as a Chinese lantern or a drone vanished as fast as the object departed Miami.

Case 105915: Sadly, this incident involved only one, male witness in the city of Canberra, Australia.  Canberra is near the southeast corner of Australia in the province of New South Wales and is the capital city.  Canberra is approximately 45 miles from the Tasman Sea, directly east of the witness’ location. His testimony follows:
 
“I went outside into the backyard at 5 AM to enjoy the coolness of the morning.  We have been experiencing summer heat of 30° – 40° C (86° – 104° F).  I was looking to the east [toward the Tasman Sea] and southeast watching the Sun’s glow of the night sky increase just before daybreak.  I noticed what seemed to me at first to be a satellite, but as I watched it approach from the south heading due north and just off the east of me, I realized it was getting bigger.  I made out two distinct lights facing forward [see upper part of sketch below], but they were not parallel to each other, as if they were mounted diagonally on a curved nose, the beams of light emitted seemed to only extend 25 – 30 meters (75 – 100 feet) which were reflecting now and then off the morning haze which was rising as it went through it. 
 
“As it got closer I saw a distinct oval shape to the front of it, and the two lights at the front were more visible with the beams extending outwards and away from each other and slightly downward.  It was at this point that it had almost reached due east of me when it started to turn to the east, and I was able to see, what I assumed was the side of it.  It was long, cylindrical, silver/grey and had a row of larger lights than the front ones running the length of the cylinder.  I counted 9 lights on the side and watched it head due east towards the horizon holding that position.
