Flashing, “Hide-and-Seek” UFO Over Korea

Case 110083: Near the South Korean Army’s 56th Homeland Defense Infantry Division’s camp in the suburbs of Seoul, a certain UFO seemingly plays “Hide and Seek” with a certain Korean soldier identified only as “M.Y.” In the suburb of Goyang City, a randomly-flashing, white light is occasionally observed in complete silence and with an aura about it. See LEFT. It has appeared at an estimated distance of 500 feet to one mile and at an elevation of 50° above the horizon. On July 10 it appeared once again for about one minute.

Double Sighting in Northeast Tennessee

Case 110133; Witness #1, July 13, 2020: Apparently two (or more) witnesses on a camping trip in northeast Tennessee observed a near-circular object for one hour at 3 p.m. in full daylight and with a partially-cloudy sky. “We were camping in Unicoi County [Tennessee] and saw a round light in the sky. It seemed to be hovering in place as clouds moved below the object. [I] took pictures with [my cell] phone and then with [my] 300mm digital camera. When zooming in there appears to be a chevron in the middle of a circle with a glowing edge.”

The craft was characterized as a “circle” (as viewed by Witness #1). Her/his photo is shown left.

Case 110135; Witness #2, July 14, 2020: On the next day, also in northeast Tennessee, witness #2 claims to have photographed a craft, characterized by the witness as a “Tic Tac”.

Triangle Near the Whakaari Island Volcano?

Case 106419: While on a day trip in the Bay of Plenty, North Island, New Zealand, a local resident took the photograph pictured below of what he called the White Island volcano. On my atlas it is called Whakaari Island and is about 30 miles north of the nearest coastal town of Opotiki. Reading the witness’ description of the event, he was unaware of the “airplane” in the same scene while the volcano was apparently venting at the time. The witness submitted the photo to MUFON asking, “Could it be an airplane?” The witness did not describe it as a disc, triangle or even a Boeing 737.

Multi-Colored Orbs Sighted Over Taos

Case 107953: In the early morning of September 1, Jenny Meadowcroft’s sleep was disturbed by her cat. Awakened, though it was still dark, she saw three, large orbs the size of basketballs just above the tree line, move from right to left at high speed. Her description was, “They were white in the front, turning to blue and then red.” They were absolutely silent and, to Meadowcroft, “beautiful” but left her “a little scared.” As it turned out, three other local witnesses saw similar objects in the region during the previous 30 days.

The next day she reported her experience to The Taos News, of Taos, New Mexico. A reporter, Phaedra Greenwood, picked up on the story and related it to the reports of three other local residents, two from Arroyo Hondo and one from Arroyo Seco “who claim to have seen red, white and blue lights hovering over Gallina Canyon in the past month.” See partial page from the Tuesday, September 5, 1996 issue of The Taos News.

From the news article below, Greenwood reported that, “UFO sightings commonly coincide with reports of cattle mutilations. Since July 8, two mutilated cows, both belonging to Jesse Gonzales, have been found in Arroyo Hondo.” She went on to state that, “A third cow that showed signs of mutilation was found in a pasture in El Prado Saturday.” The Saturday mutilation event would have taken place on September 2 — the day after Meadowcroft’s sighting.

Meadowcroft reported the incident belatedly on April 19, 2020 to MUFON. Her drawing of the event is shown below along with her testimony.

“Humming” Triangle Sighted Over Michigan

Case 108024: In the early morning in Rives Junction, Michigan, the single witness heard a “weird sound like a pulsating hum.” Assuming it was an electrical substation across the street, he went to investigate. As soon as he was outside his house, he heard the even louder hum coming from above and looking up he saw a triangular craft that was, according to the report, only 20 feet above his head (!). The report states that the craft was between 100 feet and 300 feet long and had multiple exterior lights. See drawing left.

Cosmologists Claim 36 “Intelligent” ET Civilizations

And that’s just in our Milky Way galaxy alone.

How many stars are there in the Milky Way galaxy anyway? Answer: 250 – 500 billion (well, ± 150 billion or so). That’s a lot of stars and the Sun is just one of them. Among many astronomers, it is generally accepted that there is, on average, at least one planet per star. What astronomers are really looking for is a habitable planet, with abundant water, about the size of the Earth orbiting a star about the size of our Sun. When you’re dealing with 250 billion, well, there just must be more than just one. Right? What if 18% of Sun-like stars had an Earth-like planet? That would mean there are up to six billion Earth-like planets in the Milky Way galaxy alone. That’s the latest estimate from astronomers at the University of British Columbia where they made an extrapolation based on NASA’s Kepler space telescope. Just think about that. . .

So, What Are “Intelligent” Civilizations, Exactly?

Any intelligent civilization is generally one with the ability to use a written language and possess advances in the arts and sciences. Bear in mind that these scientists are not just referring to spacefaring civilizations with a fleet of starships at hand. They are referring to any carbon-based (perhaps even silicon-based) beings with the ability to reason, understand, perceive relationships and to communicate in a technical manner. The cosmologists are describing what are called “technologically-advanced” civilizations that have invented radio technology and have been broadcasting via radio, TV or by any other means into space.

Thirty-six Intelligent Civilizations

Published on June 15 in The Astronomical Journal, a paper titled “The Astrobiological Copernican Weak and Strong Limits for Intelligent Life” 2 estimated that there are roughly “36 civilizations within our Galaxy.” The paper was written by Tom Westby, Assistant Professor of Engineering, and Christopher Conselice, Professor of Astrophysics, at the University of Nottingham (UK). But let’s be clear, the paper’s authors claim that that number could be as high as 210 and as few as four civilizations, depending on their assumptions (that’s where the “strong” scenario and the “weak” scenario come into action). Their paper is limited only to Earth/Sun-like star systems, and that’s why the word “Copernican” is used in the title.

Three Witnesses Observe Glowing Fireball

Case 106099: Three witnesses were siting on the deck of an ocean front condominium in Litchfield, South Carolina. It was 9 PM at night under partially-cloudy skies. A large, round sphere appeared from the right and moved left and then hovered. According to the witnesses, it was greater than 300 feet in diameter and at various times pulsating red, red-orange and yellow-orange. See illustration as it moved left to right. As it cast light on the ground, it appeared to be a round, solid, hovering sphere about 10° above the horizon. The sphere appeared for three minutes and then vanished.

Lost in Space Becomes a Reality

Case 106026: At around 9 PM in Collinsville, Illinois, during the summer of 1965, a 12-year old girl found herself under a large, oval-shaped craft with white exterior lights. The craft was at no more than tree top level. She says that she didn’t know what a spaceship was, and then it was revealed to her while watching and episode of the Lost in Space TV show. She claims to have heard no sound whatsoever, but soon there were two “clunking” noises. She was “frozen” for some period of time, later she ran out from under the craft, stopped and turned around to view it.

Once out from under the craft, she could see a “long square door” that was “in the middle of this oval.” The craft also had one or two large windows, one with a blue light illuminating the interior and one with a red light. Behind each window was a “hairy creature . . . with very long arms.” She then ran to her home, went inside to a window and the craft had disappeared. Years later, she had a second sighting, and possibly more than she is able to acknowledge.

“Meteor” Spawns Orb Over Florida

Case 105380: The witness is driving with her cell phone camera videoing moving traffic on US 19 at Suwannee River Bridge in Fanning Springs, Florida. At 6 AM, driving her car at speed in an easterly direction, there is a very prominent, white “meteor” with an elongated trail passing from south to north. It reminds one of the meteor that fell on the Russian city of Chelyabinsk in 2013 (see image below). The head of the meteor trail on the left is quite full and prominent as the trail gradually fades toward the right. The driver pulls over to the slow lane and then to an off-ramp and stops her car.

Huge Disc Resembles a WW I Naval Cap

Case 105266: The witness at age 12 and his 3-year old sister were living with their parents in US naval housing just west of Lake Michigan and the Great Lakes Naval Training Facility. Playing kickball in the backyard, his sister suddenly said, “What’s that?” They could see a disc-shaped flying saucer “of tremendous size,” now estimated to be 300 feet or more in diameter, apparently attempting to land into the lake. To this writer, the witness description sounds like a giant World War I naval seaman’s cap. But, instead of the black headband, the disc had the three colors of Germany: black, red and gold and in the proper sequence. To modern Germans, the colors represent freedom and unity. The colored sections of the disc’s “headband” were rotating in opposite directions (!).
